The main function of Perantara GmbH is

• As an Indonesian Tobacco Broker (the only one in the world)
• As the Managing Board of Broker for DITH (Deutsch-Indonesische Tabak-Handelsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG), the PTPN Tobacco Collecting Board.

Perantara GmbH was established on August 31, 1965 based on Decree of Indonesian Minister of Foreign Trade and Indonesian Minister of Agriculture.

Perantara GmbH Main Function

• As an ordinary broker, Perantara GmbH can accept Tobacco orders either directly from the exporter, trader or Industries.
• Perantara GmbH is operating independently, non-aligned with any tobacco seller/exporter or buyer in Indonesia.
• The company promotes Indonesian tobacco actively and with clear directives. Assembling and analyzing information on world’s tobacco market for exporter and other relevant agencies in Indonesia is part of the company objective.
• Establishing the current Indonesian tobacco market and seeking new markets is also essential to the company.
• The company’s operating areas include Indonesian tobacco market in Asia, Africa, America and Europe.
